Creative deal structure ideas for an estate purchase?

Hello BP family!

Question for the deal structure gurus out there.

I know someone in negotiations for a SFR being sold through an estate. No court approvals, etc. required. Just selling to wind down. Being sold off-market by the executor. No realtors involved on either side, so that expense isn't there.

Both parties are interested in making the deal work but are a ways off on their numbers (~$30k, generally) and are trying to figure out how to close the gap. I think they'll be able to close it to a point but wondering about creative deal structures that would help them achieve a final win-win to their goal.

Thanks so much for any and all ideas!
