Off Market Property - Scripts
Hello BP Community,
In the past few months, I have read a handful of books and made some moves that have led me to the stage of finding my first deal for a flip. As an alternative to searching the MLS, I have been driving around my neighborhood (farm area) to find any potential leads I can evaluate. Low and behold, I find a house that shows signs of vacancy (very tall grass, excessive mail in the mailbox, etc.) By a helpful pointer from the BP Podcast, I decided to "skip trace" and found the contact information the Owner. It turns out they are in their 80's.
I plan to contact the Owner this week and ask if they are willing to consider selling their house to me. However, I am having a hard time trying to find the right words to mention to the Owner... or a relative of the Owner. Does anyone have any experience contacting senior citizen owners of off market property to try and purchase?
Thank you in advance for all of your help!
