8-Day Unilateral Extention

Georgia Stone
Posted

A buyer is contingent on the sale of their (current) home.  The buyers for their current home just filed an 8-day UE b/c their funding hasn't yet arrived (bank outside of US).  This creates an issue for the close date for the buyer & close date of new home.  That seller is refusing to amend close date.  Can Buyer then "piggyback" on the UE they received & file an 8-day UE on their Seller?  The buyer has been approved for new loan but will not have down payment due to needing funds from the sale of current home.
