New Construction Representation
I am a new Realtor in Texas. I went to a builder that builds all over Texas and asked if I could represent myself as the buyer. They said no, but I could use a Realtor. This makes no sense to me.
Can someone explain why I cant represent myself in this situation?

It’s just their policy....no mls or legal issues involved. Find a fellow agent, have them represent you and have them pay you a 75-90% referral fee....the builder doesn’t know about the referral fee as it’s in house at your brokerage.
