Inaccurate Listing of Property Size
Here’s a situation we are dealing with. What has to happen in this case:
A listing states that a property has 2.5 acres. A buyer visits the property and decides to buy it. While under agreement, the buyer discovered that the property is only 1.5 acres.
Is it a case of “buyer beware” or of “false advertising“?
What is the buyer’s options and what might the seller be “forced” to do, if anything?
