Found a property with a tax lien against it. now what
Hi everyone. If anyone can help me with my issue, I truly appreciate it.
I found a abandon home and I called the city and found how much the tax lien is against the house. The rep on the phone said I can pay the lien, but I will not own the house. She said I can pay the lien and then hire a lawyer to foreclose on the property. I am not sure exactly what that means. I know through research that the owner of the property is dead and so are her children. So who I am I foreclosing against. Is there anyone who point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance.
