Is it a good idea to buy short term vacation rental @Lake Ossipee

I am looking for short term vacation rental property in the lakes region. I came across a property near Lake Ossipee that I like, however I am not sure if it will rent as short term on VRBO or AirBnb to make some profit or at least breakeven on the investment. The property is closer to Rt 16 and water, however the house does not have direct access to water for boat launch. Please advise.  Thanks very much.

Always run the numbers, you can't only rely on responses from people.

I would recommend to spend a few $$$ to utilize the AirBnB calculator here on BP to ensure you are making a wise financial decision. If you don't want to spend the money, try googling a calculator to run the numbers with.
