Journey to 1200 Doors

We are under contract to purchase 3 more properties within the next week or two. That will bring us up to 200 properties which is a mixture of single family homes, small multi families, a commercial building, and 6 mobile home parks. My team consists of me, my assistant, my assistant has 2 assistants, my business partner, and his assistant. We also have a lot of tradesmen and subcontractors that work primarily for us because of the amount of work that we give them.

I tell you all of this so you can see where I am currently in my journey to 1200 doors.

I’ve cut my work as a therapist back to 20 appointments a week now in order to dedicate more time to run our real estate businesses. I recognize that I will need to make more changes along the way to scale to 1200 units.

What I am looking for right now is advice from people who have scaled to past 1000 units and how they did it and what systems they put into place in order to scale their business to that level (Please don’t get stuck on why I want to scale to 1200 doors. There is meaning behind it. But I just want to focus more on the how than the why in this post).

Thanks for your comments.
