Is Memphis a good market for investment ? Any pitfalls? What areas to avoid?

@Anjum Qazi it really depends on your goals as an investor when it comes to what areas to invest in or avoid. I’m an agent in TN and do a lot of work with investors in the Memphis market - it’s a great market for cashflow with an added benefit of potential appreciation. It is very competitive right now so it can be difficult to find good deals, but I do believe that it is a great market to be in.

I’d say if you’re looking at Memphis, build a core 4 who know the market well and they will be able to advise you on what areas are in the path of progress and what areas to avoid based on your goals.

In the end, the best investment is the one you know (or can leverage other people’s knowledge). Feel free to message me if I can answer any questions, and best of luck to you!
