possible to be a pure investors and not do the actual work BRRRR

I am new but very interested to real estate investing. Have listened to a lot of podcasts and ready to start. Feel like most people on the podcasts are doing it themselves (looking for deals, renovations, contracting, finding property managers etc). I do not have any experience in any of these and feel like there is still a very steep learning curve especially for guys like me.

I am wondering if it is possible to be a pure investor. For example, can I just let the other investors do the actual work and compensate them by giving them a few percentage points of my equity in the investment. Sounds like free ride but want to know if it is possible to find partnerships like this in different markets.

1. Have a very good paid job but quite busy day-to-day. Want savings to work in real estate market.  2. not looking for crazy returns and willing to compensate other investors by giving my equity to others 3. learn while building business with others, may do it myself when ready

What are your thoughts on this? Will this work at all?
