DC Condo Docs for Resale - How Recent?

Andrew Stewart
Posted

Hi All,

I apologize if this has been covered somewhere, but I have searched pretty thoroughly on Google and BP - so far nothing. I am familiar with the general requirements to provide a buyer with a set of condo docs (oftentimes a Resale Package) when selling your condo in DC, and that the docs must be furnished within 10 days of contract ratification AND that the buyer has 3 days following receipt of the docs to cancel the contract.

However, my question is-- how "recent" do the condo docs/resale package need to be? Can the condo docs be a year old? More? Less? Do they need to have been delivered by the association within 30 days or something?

Thanks!

Andrew
