Dabbling into wholesaling

Brandon Thompson
Posted

Alright, here is my situation. I know I am missing a lot of steps but seeking help. I have a house in my sights with an acquaintance. They are willing to give me a deal on the property, but I do not wish to keep it. Do I need to get pre-approved by a bank in order to get it under contract with them? My understanding is I do not need the pre-approval just need to find a buyer before the closing date in order to wholesale property to them and keep the difference. I know I am missing plenty in this process. The wholesale process has not fully clicked into my brain. The original sellers are looking to sell to me without real estate agents involved if possible.
