Find Self Storage Owners

I would like to assemble a huge list of self storage addresses and, if possible, owner info. 

I do not mind paying somebody to manually assemble it if I have to but how would I even get that information?

I'm certainly no guru here but after hunting off market storage deals for about 7 years now IMO there are 2 ways to go about it.  The gritty hustle way like @Taylor L. and @Jonathan Greene previously mentioned.  Or go the really expensive route with Costar or Yardi.  I'm a big believer in the gritty hustle method, you will learn a ton.  It's really competitive out there now, we receive multiple letters a week at our facilities.  But if you stay consistent you will find a deal.....it only takes one.  That said we just got to the point where we could justify paying for accurate info from one of the big data houses previously mentioned.  Just starting a new campaign so I cant report any stats yet but hopefully in the next few months it will pay off.
