BEST Preliminary Title Search tools or services

What is recommended as the least expensive way to make sure there are no outstanding liens on a property, if you are examining an out of state property?
Apart from personally going to the recorder's office to view title history & liens, could an experienced investor share why they may just request the services of a Title Insurance Company or an abstractor service company in lieu of trying to find and use a quality on-line information subscription service? Georgia has state/county supported on-line data, but they also charge to be able to view actual docs and print them from their website. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Suggestions from those experienced in Georgia would be most useful to me.

We use the following
Abstrax
Financial Dimensions
Title Metrics

The reason we use them vs doing it ourselves is:

We cant keep track of where to search for records for every jurisdiction

Not every jurisdiction's records/data is online

It is a lot of work and time intensive
