Don't know what to do

Hi I'm Quentin and I am beginning my real-estate investing journey. I own my own condo out right. My Mother and father got a reverse mortgage on there home without my knowledge. My father has now passed. I just found out, I do not want the house to get out of the family and I want to purchase it. Can this be done and is it a good idea at this stage of my investing point when I am seeking rentals?
