I bought a home around April and got inspections on the home for wood destroying pests.

It is now June and I am fully moved into this property and started noticing a very very small hole with sheet rock flowing out. So we called a different pest control company to check it out and sure enough it is infested with termites.

Terminex said that there is no more wood inside thats why the dry wall is coming out.

My question is there anything that I can do about this since I bought the home under the circumstances and inspection reports Millennium Pests gave us? Is there an attorney that I should speak to? Fidelity Home warranty?

Let us know what the response is from Millenium. They should cover it. In the event they do not, do not stress. This is an easy problem to fix. So many people get up in arms over termites as if the world was ending.

Hopefully it is an isolated issue and does not extend into void areas not accessible. If not, a simply spot treatment would do the trick and should include the removal of the dry wall in the affected area to allow for the treatment. Then an easy drywall replacement and paint.

If it goes beyond that, you are looking at the need to tent the house. Depending on the size of your home will determine the cost. Could be $3k for a 2000 sq. ft. Home.
