Price per sq as a buying criteria

Cesar Cruz
Posted

When I was purchasing my own home, i was looking at price/sq as a buying criteria. I thought that the lower price/sq meant that i'm getting a good deal.....Now that I'm trying to look for a cash flowing rental property, cash flow and cash on cash seems to be more important.....the bigger the house, also means more can be broken.... Should I ignore price/sq in my criteria when looking for rentals? or maybe it means i should keep looking....

Any advise would be appreciated.
