How do you challenge a low appraisal notice?

Hey everyone. So this house is sold four times before I put it in the market this January 2021. All appraisal, including the county records, have the same square footage. Then the buyer's appraiser said they're all wrong and it's 260 sq. ft. smaller, and slashing the price down $25K from the offer price. The buyers are using VA loan and they cannot finance the difference. Is this deal salvageable or would you move on from this one? What are my options? Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your expertise and experience here!
