Appraisal less than purchase price
*Primary residence purchase
The home is a brand new build. It just appraised for 286,000 but the purchase price is 287,900. I gave $1000 earnest money already leaving the difference at $900. They are asking me if I can bring the $900 to closing? They are already paying up to $4000 in closing costs so I don't want to be pushy, but should I tell them if they want me to get the house then they can add the $900 or reduce the purchase price?
