Washington DC First Time Buyer

Currently looking for an agent to guide me through my first home purchase. Looking at properties in DC proper. I work in McLean so ideally I'd be close to the silver line metro. DuPont, Logan Circle, Eastern Market, and Adams Morgan are my current top neighborhoods but I am open! Looking for a 2 bedroom unit to rent out the spare room. $400k-$500k range with 3.5-5% down. HOA fees must be below $500/month and preferably under $400. My agent should be a superstar at quickly catching deals and flagging as well as an expert in first time homebuyer programs! Timeline to buy is by March.

Hola Andrea, as Rusell mentioned, in the neighboorhoods you are looking at it would be almost impossible to make it work. If you are willing to look in other areas in virginia that have good commute times to Mclean and also are fairly close to DC. Annandale, Springfield could be some options to look at the price point you are sharing. There might be some possibilities.
