Question regarding purchasing house in Michigan

Hongling Lu
Posted

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (for study, not permanently). Ann Arbor is a college town where the University of Michigan is at. I am looking to purchase a property. I've heard a lot of people telling me that it is not a good idea to purchase properties in AA, because the price is high so is the tax. Many say that the nearby city Ypsilanti is a better place to purchase properties.

I would like to hear the opinions from this community. Thank you very much for any input you may have.
