Looking for "Full Service" Turnkey Provider
We are a couple living in Switzerland (My wife is a US citizen, I am Swiss), eager to purchase our first rental property in the US. Since we are kind of the "super out of state investors" we are looking for a TK company we can heavily rely on- not only during the sales process but also once we own the rental in case we face issues with the PM, the lender or what ever issue might come up. Short- we are looking for a trusted advisor.
We read a lot about Rent to Retirement and Memphis Invest (REI Nation) and are interested to learn more about your experiences with those, and perhaps other TK providers.
Also, if there are some other out of country investors like us willing to share their stories, that would be highly appreciated.
We are looking forward to your responses.
Best regards,
Emily and Alain

@Alain Haug & Emily,
It sounds like TK investing is a good option for you if you are across the world, but still wanting to invest in the US. As many people have stated, it all comes down to having the right team in place that is reliable & has very good communication with both owners & tenants.
Financing is another aspect to navigate if you are looking to leverage. I assume since your wife is a US citizen that you can use conventional financing likely. Does she still have an income & file taxes in the US? Either way there are many excellent lenders that can finance foreign nationals if needed. We work with many international investors. I would connect with @Phil Miro @Joseph Schweizer @Joseph Crunkilton @Leigh Corcoran @Brooke Andrea @Rakesh Reddy Mekala who can maybe tell you about their experiences to add more insight.
I've also added a couple forum links below that might be helpful to read. Feel free to let me know any specific question you have about investing from a distance, TK properties, financing, tax/legal implications for investing in different states, etc. We have a comprehensive support team to assist investors with all aspects in building a successful passive income portfolio!
