Joint Venture Agreements and Finder's Fee
Hello, I have a few questions I have a motivated seller that is willing to pay me a finder's fee to bring him a motivated seller here in California. However, I am not a licensed real estate agent but I am a wholesaler, and I want to make sure I am not doing anything illegal. My questions are can a real estate broker or agent pay a finder's fee and can a private seller and/or buyer pay a finder's fee? Also what documents should I have in place to protect myself from any legal issues? Lastly can someone please share with me the Joint Venture agreement that is for the state of California?
