Title company wont send me my deed? What to do?

Hello.I purchased a home all cash a year ago and and i was told by the attorney at settlement that i would be getting my deed in the mail  within 3 months. A year passed and i didnt get anything so i contacted the deed recorder thinking maybe it was their fault and they told me that they sent the original deed back to my attorney 5 days after settlement. I have been trying to contact this attorney for the last 3 months and all i get is the secretary on the phone telling me that  they are super busy but they are working on it.  I have been waiting over a year.  Is this normal? I dont think so ..  Should i be worried about this ? I never went through this before. Could anybody give me any guidance on what should i do to get my deed if they keep refusing to send it ?. Im really tired of calling them.  Thank you.
