Investors that Left Their Job - Right Choice?

I'm hoping people that have left there job might find this. I, like many people here, have dreams of RE cash flow providing income to give me options of early retirement or continue working.

What point did you leave your job? (Cash matched expenses, matched income, double your expenses, triple expenses, etc.)

Do you wish you had stayed so you could continue earning more income or did you find another way to turn your time into money?

What did you do with all your new found free time? Netflix and chill, start a business, travel, something else?
