Long-term Disability Claim maturity

Hey everyone, I'm a rookie investor who recently came to the property investment scene. I was trying to use the funds I can find from my savings. But unfortunately, I couldn't limit the cost of buying a pre-constructed condo and remodel it, which I later intend to rent. My father suggested he would help me with his ltd money due to be matured a couple of months back. Though I submitted the papers, the insurance company is giving me all kinds of hassles. Though I made my appeal, it was of no use. What do you think I should do?
