Austin Tx Market Opportunity

Alia Liu
Posted

Moving to Austin soon. New to the real estate market. Wondering if Austin market is still a buy or should I wait for the market to calm down a bit? I have been looking at the whisper valley community area. Anyone is familiar with the new development there?

The Austin market is not going to slow down anytime soon, so waiting it out is not an option.

AUSTIN, TEXAS MARKET

* Low Inventory (Little supply, high demand)

* Sellers Market

* Average Housing Price over $320K (Expect prices to continue to climb in 2021 due to low inventory) (Median price has increased over 14% in the last year) About $400K inside the Austin city limits.

* High Property Taxes

* Multi-offers, be prepared to offer way over asking price

* Low to Negative Cashflow

* Great Appreciation

If you've got the funding and resources for this market, go for it.
