So I'm curious to get into the solar lease game what is actually required and what does it pay per acre? I know it can be challenging to find that parcel and there is a good amount of competition right now, but has anyone successfully done it and underwent a profitable lease? I assume they are NNN leases but if not please share!

We have 2 leases near my home, but they haven't put the equipment in. I gave a survey proposal on one of them and there was a stack of nondisclosure docs so I never found out what the lease would pay or the length of time. Both were on big farms that produced nice peanuts, cotton, or soybeans depending on the year, so it must have been a decent amount to take that land out if production.
