Difference Foundation Equal Different Comp?
I am a new investors scheduled to look at my first house today! The house has a Michigan basement. In the area that I am looking at there either old block basements or Michigan basements (think big crawl space). When I am looking for a property to estimate the after repair value, should I align the foundation types and square footage of those foundations? Another way to ask the questions is, assuming all else equal and decent/safe condition, what would be the differences in value between these two basement types?
