Thoughts on Borland Capital

I'm not currently looking to invest with this company but they do have some "tutorials" on syndicating a deal.  I'm looking for the "herd opinion" on whether these tutorials are valid information or not.
As an aside, does anyone have any good books/blogs/podcasts/videos on setting up a syndication?  As I mentioned earlier, I'm not to the point of needing one but I'm working on a subdivision development deal that might lead nicely into a syndication for the improvements built in said subdivision.

I echo @Taylor L.s word on Joe Fairless's Best Ever Apartment Syndication book. It's a hell of a dense read and will take you from soup to nuts and has enough chapters that you can easily get to the nugget you want to read without spending too much time searching.
