Land Flipping/Investing Courses Reviews?

Andy Newbie
Posted

Hi all, this is my first post here. I have decided to go the land flipping/leasing method as my first dabble in REI. My personal situation.. I am already self-employed and work from home so I have tons of time. My cash flow is somewhat limited (about 10K max, including paying for the course then buying my first deal).

Are there any updates on the top land flipping courses? There were some multi page threads about 3 years ago. Land geek, Land Academy.. also just discovered Land Profit Generator ($8,000!! maybe they have a cheaper plan?) REI Tipster course and one from a facebook ad created by the Casual REI Fridays podcast ($2,500 quote via phone).

From what I see, seems like lots of you from the older thread really liked the REI Tipster course which right now I see is priced just under $1,500.

The Casual REI Fridays one (I haven't found much info about them, except one of the creators is featured as a top student on the Land Academy website) I was quoted $2,500, that is a bit steep for me as well but I will pay for whatever gives me transparent education that I can truly implement and start making deals/getting results.

I like that Land Academy has a monthly plan, but the Tipster course 1 time fee is doable as well.

What is the best in you guys' opinions? Or if you have an opinion generally, it will be appreciated. Thank you so much I wish continued success to everyone.

Hi everyone! Joined Land Academy within the past few months. The course is $2000+/- depending if they have a sale. I have to say the course is a disappointment, it's totally outdated. However, some of the intro music is comical..makes you feel like a band of belly dancers are about to arrive. I kid you not!!  Anyway, after the dancers leave, the videos seem to drag on.

They know the course is outdated and even say it. However, they want you to look up any questions or ask questions on their free forum landinvestors. That too is outdated...but they say the answers are still valid for many questions. So if you are new and have no clue...how do you know if the info in the course needs to be adjusted or questioned?? They count on their members to answer your questions, which their answers may or may not be correct.

But, if you want new, updated material, they have the $16,000 10 week career path class. Oh and they just came out today...         with the two "Brand New Intensives" classes. Members get $500 off for both classes. So your total is $3000. for the three week class.

So what did I pay for a few months ago???  Seems to me they should be sending new members the updated information...free!!!

The Land Geek. He too sells you the old outdated beginner course, then wants you to upgrade to the $10,000+ package.                LA and LG are great marketers, always huckstering something!

Seth Williams/RETipster really puts out a good product/course, offers tons of information, updates his material frequently (video and written), interviews guests offering valuable info (ex: asset protection, law, taxation). He does videos on how to use various software, he also does reviews on products (website, crm, mapping, etc) He offers two tier pricing for his course.
I would recommend ReTipster over the other classes.

Best to all!
