Price Negotiation- Local RE Info to read and Non Monetary Terms
Hello! I am an investor in Columbus, Ohio with a few duplexes. For a little while now I have been cold calling local multifamily properties. I am improving, but still far from refined at the art. Two areas of weakness that I seek to grow in, as I negotiate with owners:
1. I lack knowledge to speak confidently and intelligently about the local market, and local trends. Where should I go to read up on local real estate trends and data? In general, what should I be reading, listening to, or subscribed to watch on Youtube so that I am armed with comprehensive multifamily knowledge, and plenty to speak about when an owner needs to be persuaded to sell at a better price?
2. What are some effective non-monetary terms that can be used in negotiation with owners to encourage them to reduce a lofty sales price?
