Many deeds of potential investment properties missing info
Greetings, I’ve been a longtime lurker here but have been encountering something here and there while conducting my business flipping residential homes.
My understanding is that most any jurisdiction (in my case, New Mexico) requires the mailing address of a grantor and grantee to be listed on a deed of transfer.
If the address for the grantor/seller of a property is not provided on a deed of transfer (usually Warranty Deed, sometimes quitclaim etc), should I be worried about the validity of said documents? I’m unsure of the correct legal entity that would best answer that question.
Any insight /guidance is greatly appreciated!
