Making an offer on preforeclosure with ROR and bancuptcy
I am looking at a property that is in foreclosure. Owner filed bankruptcy which halted the sheriff sale. County still shows the owner on record, not the bank. I don't believe they have much equity so their redemption period is most likely short. If this ends up as a short sale we could run past expiration of rights. Do banks often pause if an offer is in the works? Does bankruptcy court come in to play? Appreciate any insight.
