Contract for Profit Split

Scott Neenan
Posted

Hey everyone! Very new here and looking for guidance. Myself and 2 friends have been taking care of a home for my friend's parents and are looking to sell it. We've discussed how we're going to split the profits and all because of the work we put in. But here's the catch, the house is in NY still under the parent's name. In order to ensure that everything is in writing and secured I want to get a solid document delineating the division of profits from the sale accordingly. How would I go about getting said document drawn up? Thanks!

Scott, it seems from your post that you may have put the cart before the horse.  Are the parents still alive?  You can't sell other people's property.  That's called fraud.
