Working with Realtors
Hello BiggerPockets I am new to this page. I am currently a licensed Florida Realtor located in Harrisburg, PA. I plan on opening my office in Harrisburg in 8months time. I want to know 3 straight forward services that you would like a Realtor to do better in. Maybe that’s loan knowledge, market knowledge, communication, etc. I plan on taking this data and picking the #1 problem people face with Realtors and providing a solution and ultimately a better service to buyers, sellers, and investors.

Realtors like to know "everything," but in my opinion not only is it better business, but I think it is better marketability to have a specialty. For example, specialize in Investment properties, first time home buyers, farm/land sale, or commercial, etc. I see Realtors who stretch to do everything but that doesn't service their client. You can't possibly know other areas you don't normally work, or understand rental law if you've never done it, or if a property has a front foot assessment you didn't know about, etc.
