2nd house. Do I have a chance?
Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me if I have a chance of qualifying for a second house? I bought a house almost two years ago. It’s been renting well but I only cash flow $25 a month. Payment on the house is $1900.
My income is 81000. Credit is good. The new house will be around $1550.
I have a car loan for $765 a month.
I can use my sister as a co-signer. Her income is about 70000 but her credit is fair. Do I have a chance? Will the rent or part of it from my 1st house count towards my income? I don’t have any other loans. My sister pays rent of $2400 a month (NYC). I have the down payment (20%) for the second house. Thank you!
