Abandoned property next door

Hey y’all, I am looking into purchasing the abandoned house on my street. It is the only abandoned property on the street and it was suppose to sell back in January. The closing did not go through and now it’s just sitting there.  It’s an eye sore so I have been at least maintaining the lawn just because.  I have contacted the town but can not get and owner information. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?  Thanks.
