Sinking land in florida

Since sinkholes are such a problem in florida where they are randomly swallowing up homes in subdivisions. I wonder if any investors would be interested in holding onto that land or selling it. Perhaps the risk might be as great as going after some River Ranch property. You cant do nothin with it if it keeps dissolving into the water table.

I feel bad for those people down there. Perhaps the state might aquire it as conservation land since its too dangerous to live on?

What's your question, Ryan Watson? Is it too dangerous to own property anywhere in FL? I don't think so. Its not as if houses or people are being swallowed whole on a daily basis. Or as if sinkholes are a purely Florida problem. They're common throughout the US and the world:
