Rolling property into your LLC

Question:

Within 3 weeks of purchasing my new condo I rolled the title into my LLC. However, I was unaware that I was going to get a tax bill. I'm assuming I received the bill because my LLC "bought" the condo. Is there a way around this? I have another place that was my primary residence and is now a rental. I want to deed the title to my LLC but I am trying not to get a giant tax bill for the "sale" (even though my LLC will not technically buy it)
