Questions when buying a property with tenants

I’m going to be walking through a property this weekend and will have the current tenants present. What do you recommend as far as interacting with the tenants In this situation? Do you ask them questions or try and stay distant? Anything else you recommend?

This will be my first investment purchase if everything checks out, so I’m very new to this.
