How to Create Buyers List as a New RE Investor. Any Tips, Please?

Charleine Nyeck

I am a Chemical Engineer (by profession) and now working in Consulting for Chemicals, Oil ans Gas companies. I recently decided to take the big step towards my real love that always was RE Investing. The opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the world and help improve the quality of life in local communities is my real passion.

So I am looking for advice on where/how to find buyers and also would like to connect with other investors with the same vision

Is anyone based here in Houston, Texas or Texas overall?

Hello! I am a retired Chemical Engineer but I have to admit that I only spent the first few years of my career doing actual engineering work. It's a great industry to be part of. With COVID interfering with our normal ways of connecting it is more challenging to build a network. However, many groups that had been meeting in person have moved to Zoom (hasn't everyone???). If you haven't checked the activity on meetup.com I'd recommend that for sure.

For example, here's a group from Houston that's having a virtual event next Tuesday:  https://www.meetup.com/RealAcquisitions/

Best of luck to you both in real estate and in the world of engineering!
