How to Find the Public Record for Property in Indiana?

I am doing due diligence on a property in Indiana and I am trying to confirm the number of legal/permitted bedrooms but I can't seem to find that info on public record. I looked up the tax bill and I don't see that information either. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
