Hello BP members!!

If you are seeing this for a second time, thanks for sticking with me! It's been a busy month for me, but after generating some interest in my first post, I believe it is time to actually get this rolling!

If this is the first time you're seeing this, welcome! My name is Brett Stander, a young real estate investor in the Philadelphia area. My partner and I are getting into the thick of things, and we'll be purchasing our first property (hopefully) by the beginning of the fall season. 

With COVID still an issue, as well as many places being closed, I figured that beginning a virtual real estate investment association would be much easier than meeting in person, and also give us philly investors a time and a place to collaborate. 

Below is the format of how I hope to run the meeting:

Each week will be a new discussion. I haven't thought of a topic for week one yet, so drop your suggestions below! I was considering doing the infamous "where is the market heading after COVID?" but personally, I am tired of that discussion. I am more than happy to talk about it however, so if you'd like to speak of it, drop it in a comment below! 

For each week, I will act as the moderator so to speak. This way, we won't all be talking over one another and I will move the discussion along. Please note I am not a professional on real estate in any sense of the word, however I believe I have enough general knowledge at this point to lead a potent and purposeful discussion. 

Also, please post below a desired time for the discussion, as well as your email address. I will start an email chain once I have a few addresses, and will add more people once you comment. I cannot promise that everyone will be happy with the time, but if this is the case, we can possibly meet more than once a week, or we can change the time up as we go, whatever works so the most people can get involved. 

With that being said, I am excited to meet other investors in the area! One of the things I love about real estate is how focused it is on the community aspect, so please, do not hesitate to join, even if you cannot meet every week. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions, and I will respond ASAP.
