Primary Residence Lending Troubles

Lowry Akers
Posted

Under contract on a home I am planning on purchasing as a primary residence. Set to close on 7/15.

I had refinanced another townhome in February that was classified as a primary residence, but due to circumstances we have began renting.

My lender is saying the loan will not work because of the classification on my first townhome.

Has anyone else dealt with anything like this? Any creative, alternative ways to get this to work?

I might ask the sellers if they would consider seller financing. Worst case scenario, I may try to do a private loan. Would love some ideas, input, feedback.
