Investing During The Virus!!

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is safe and well during this time we are living in. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on the bills being passed regarding no mortgage payments, or any other bills or laws being passed that would halt or make investing a bit more difficult.

I have not yet purchased my first investment property, I have just taken this time to learn and ask as much as possible. I was curious if experienced investors are still looking to purchase homes during this virus? Regardless of the answer to this question, would you mind explaining why that is your answer.

Thank you very much,

Sam Gleadle

@Sam Gleadle Yes experienced investors are buying and especially selling property. Real estate has highs and lows but historically it has better returns than other investments including stocks and mutual funds.

I had the pleasure to sit down for coffee with a big SFH investor in my market last year. This guy had 130+ properties and probably more with partners. Since then I've loosely tracked his properties and he hasn't slowed down. He bought most in 2010-2014, cash-flowed, and then injects about $25K into them and sells. He was a teacher and investing was a side hustle like a lot of other people. My point is the best time to get into REI was yesterday. Find a DEAL and get the ball rolling because no one else will do it for you. Cheers.
