I've never seen this subject discussed on BP, so thought I'd start a thread for the fun of it.

I had my house listed on a trade site, and forgot to take it off after we leased it out a few years ago. I'ts a 4400 sq. ft. house, 2100 sq. ft. guest house on 20 acres, with a pond. I got an email last night from someone wanting to trade us their property in Fiji on the beach.. I don't think it will work, but got me thinking...

Have you ever traded your equity in a property for another property or something else of value?

Have you ever taken a trade of someones equity in property for something you had?

If not, would you ever consider it?
