Investing in property with girlfriend.

My Girlfriend and I are wanting to invest in our first property and use the brrrr method. Next month we will have about 15k saved for a down payment. We're bot RN's and each make $66,500/yr. our credit isn't the best. mine is 676 and hers is around 650. The home prices in our area (Amarillo, Tx) are pretty cheap. we're looking to buy between 90-120k. Neither of us have a lot of debt, only student loans and car loans. We're wondering if it would be best to buy a home together or do it independently.  I know there are limits on how many properties one person can finance. Our plan is to have her buy a house, us live in it and fix it up, have me buy a house rent the first and then have her buy another and keep rotating. Is this a good strategy? We do plan on getting married but we don't want to wait for that to start. any advice would be much appreciated.
