WFH House Hack ! Duplex or SFH? Which City?
Hello All,
I been working from home since this virus thing started. I own 3 rentals ( 1 in Austin. 2 in Phoenix) and I do not have any primary or secondary residence as I move a lot for my job. I think I pretty much will be working from home untill the rest of the year bc of the virus. I am now thinking to utilize this opportunity and do a house hacking on a duplex or a SFH. Not sure if I should buy the it as a secondary home or investment because not sure how long I will be working from home.
I am looking for recommendations on which CITIES should I attempt to purchase the property. I live in Denver now and it's pretty expensive. I like cities which are like Denver. Ski areas near by and good summer weather. SFH can be around $175 to #225. Since I am going to live in this property, I am looking for a safe neighborhood. I was thinking SLC or Boise, but both look out of range
Please ask me any specifics if I am missing anything. Thanks in advance
