Buying Property While Working Abroad
Hi everyone,
I am thinking about buying my first buy and rent property next year. My home base is in Toronto, Canada. I work overseas teaching abroad and I plan on continuing to do that for the foreseeable future. Is it possible to buy a house in Toronto while living abroad? My dad lives there so he can be a contact person, but will probably have to work with a property management company to take care of maintenance.
By next year when I plan to buy I should have around 80K. My accommodation is paid for by the school I work at, so I could help cover fees each month if it is not all covered by the tenants rent.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
